Erin Mort LLC is currently hiring a social media / community manager. We are a small business that’s seen rapid growth (and impact!), and are excited to continue to build out our dream team. Our mission is to empower others to start living life on their terms by helping them build an online business while going through an incredible self development journey in the process. We accomplish this through various coaching programs and courses that transform people’s lives.

Here’s what you can expect when you join our team:

  • Autonomy: you will have the opportunity to work on your own and bring to the table any ideas you might have on how you can improve your role / the company as a whole. We are looking for self-starters who do not require micromanagement and who focus on productivity / getting the job done rather than running the clock (when your work is done, it’s done!).

  • Remote work: you can work from wherever*, and stay as comfy as you want. Want to work and travel? Go for it. Stay in your PJs all day? Fine by us! *Due to the nature of employment, we are only able to hire U.S. residents, but if you’re a U.S. resident who happens to be globetrotting, we love it!

  • Flexible hours: We are an East Coast based company, however we welcome applicants from all time zones. Many of our meetings will be based in EST, so as long as you are comfortable getting on board with that schedule, we’re good! Our general office hours are Monday-Friday 10 am - 6 pm (with half day Fridays), but we prioritize working smarter, not harder. If you can work out a schedule for yourself that allows you to be more productive while still maintaining contact with the team, we’re all for it.

  • Incredible team: We come from corporate backgrounds that left much to be desired, and have worked hard to create an environment where work doesn’t feel like work. We are looking for people who want to learn and grow with us as we invest our time and energy back into them as build out this incredible company.


What we’re looking for in you:

  • You’re a strong communicator: We know how important communication is, especially with a small team growing a business. We are all about radical communication and addressing any issues the moment they present themselves and look at them as opportunities to grow. We know this is something that can take some getting used to, and we’re here to help!

  • You’re a self starter: We want you to be able to take your role and run with it. We want you to be able to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a timely manner without the need for constant check ins. While we don’t expect you to accomplish a task the moment it’s assigned, we do expect reasonable timeframes in which projects are completed and expect you to be able to manage your time efficiently.

  • You take initiative: We want you to take it upon yourself to learn and grow within your role. If you find you have extra time or you’re getting things done quickly, we want you to take the initiative to figure out ways you can improve the role and the company as a whole. We’re always looking to promote from within, and this is your chance to do so!

  • You’re a team player: You know that teamwork makes the dream work. We’re looking for someone who will show up, do their best on any given day, and be real with us about what's going on if something is happening behind the scenes. You love being part of a team that gets shit done, AND you love that we are human and understand that life happens.

  • You’re committed: We understand that we’re in the business of teaching people how to build their own businesses, but we’re looking for people who are dedicated to the role and are not looking to go off and start their own business right now.   • You care about your work: Here are Erin Mort & OSP, we have a significant impact on the lives that come into our business. You will be a face of the company and at times (depending on the role) dealing directly with clients. Social Media / Community Manager

Position overview

The social media / community manager will be responsible for all things social media, engagement, lead generation, and community building. This position will provide ongoing support & oversee posting of content across all social media platforms. You will work closely with Erin and team to help develop a social media strategy and content calendar as well as perform daily engagement and community building. This is a vital role to the growth of the Erin Mort brand, with opportunity for growth into a more senior role for the right candidate.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following, but not limited to:

Community / engagement 

  • Instagram

    • Daily lead generation and engagement for potential clients

    • Liking and commenting on ideal clients posts

    • Responding to comments left on company’s social media pages

    • Responding to DMs with brand voice

    • Engaging with potential clients in DMs

    • Answering questions related to programs and offers in a timely manner

    • Assisting with client outreach and enrollment during launch periods

  • Facebook

    • Approving and responding to Facebook posts in VA Army community

    • Creating engagement schedule within facebook group (when to go live, posting prompts for engagement, etc.)

    • Posting in various Facebook groups to drive engagement / lead gen

    • Responding to Facebook messenger requests and chats

    • Responding to Facebook comments on ads requesting more info 

  • LinkedIn

    • Responding to messages on LinkedIn 

    • Daily lead generation and engagement for potential clients

  • Slack 

    • Assisting with engagement in private Alumni Slack community 

    • Creating a schedule of events for guest speakers / live trainings 

Social Media support

  • Conducting market research to create a calendar of content that should be created with support from Erin 

  • Creating a system for which content is consistently posted across channels (instagram, facebook, linkedin, tiktok, pinterest, blogs)

  • Random bullet to see if you’re paying attention - please write the number 11 in the section labeled “did you read the whole job application?”

  • Repurposing old content 

  • Engaging before and after posting content 

  • Being responsible for content calendar and posting all created content 

Launch support

  • Ramping up engagement / DM outreach during launch periods 

  • Assisting in responding to technical questions regarding programs (this is not a sales position, but there is potential for commissions for the right candidate after a trial period)

Skills and requirements

  • Social media management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest)

  • Social media skills, including DM management, Lead generation, Social media engagement, and Content Repurposing

  • Comfortable with engaging and starting conversations with potential clients

  • Lead generation skills

  • Ability to respond in a timely fashion 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with others

  • Strong time management skills

Salary is commensurate with experience & will start at a competitive market salary.
